My name is John Newberry. I am married to Brittany, my beautiful wife. We’re in our 4th year of marriage. I am based in Central Arkansas but travel anywhere. Another week in prison! I just got back from prison yesterday.It was another great weekend.
I brought my friend matt rateliff with me. He ran our audio for us. He was an incredible help breaking down and putting up our equipment. 
We brought a few guys to preach in since we went to 7 prisons at one time. One of the guys prophesied over a couple girls. 
One of these girls is in there because of drugs and the other one is in there because she killed her parents when she was younger.
Brittany and I got to spend a few minutes on the stage. She talked about a couple of things that she’s gone through in the past year. God is breaking down some walls that she put up a long time ago. Walls sometimes hurt coming down and these definitely have. But God is restoring her faith through lots of prayer. Its quite a story. I talked about how we often get influenced by others when God says that “bad company corrupts good character.” 99% of people in prison are there because of somebody else. And of course we told our funny marriage stories.
And last but not least, this lady sang and was horrible! God bless her soul! I couldn’t tell if she was mad at something or if she had something in her throat that was bothering her.
